Reading progress update: I've read 276 out of 542 pages.
The characters are absolutely horrid, vapid and shallow, dumb but ruthless. And yet.... I'm still rather enjoying this book.
I'm really interested to see how bad off these characters can get, at the moment Margaret (MC) is in a really bad place, everyone is clearly lying to her and she can't see past getting her jewels and belittling her royal sisters.
The writing is excellent.
