I'm super digging the main character. I love the way her voice is portrayed. She does drive me beyond bonkers with her freaking out, so much so that she makes me look like a crazy person! I am so caught up in the story that I openly talk to myself in public while listening to this. Case in point, Yesterday I was legit swearing under my breath and ordering her to move her dumb ass before she got herself killed!
Mind you, even though she is driving me nut's I adore her for it. She's so realistic in her reactions. I imagine it's incredibly hard as an author to keep your character realistic in their reactions when everyone else out there is kicking butt and taking names.
