I am so disappointed that this ended, I kind of wish the whole book was on Moira and Tom. I quite liked Moira in the Alpha & Omega series, but we never really get to know her that well, this on the other hand was magical. For such a short story we got to know her in-depth, her contrasting strengths and weaknesses, Briggs handled her disability beautifully. I loved the conflict but knowledge she had to do what needed to be done. There needs to be a whole book from Moira's POV, I will demand! (politely ask) that my needs are met and this is created. Please and thank you.
