Re-read Angelfall - My thoughts.

Angelfall - Susan Ee

This book is simply amazing, I love and enjoyed this incredible piece of work just as much this time as i did the first time.
Penryn is a wonderful character, in this book we see how truly incredible a human being can be, the hard choices she must face and over come. She blows my mind really.
The writing and the story itself is also fantastic. usually i highly dislike angel books, i find them ridiculous, especially when romance is evolved. why would something so magnificent, so powerful, and well...godly fall for a human, let alone a teenage human? like come one, most teenagers are so bratty and self absorbed. Penryn on the other hand, i can see how and why they formed their bond, it was a necessity of survival. Plus Penryn is just plain awesome and rather badass in an oddly innocent way, why wouldn't you like her?

The other characters were also...fascinating and extremely realistic. they came off the page and seemingly into real life. especially the sister and mother. The mother was great, an absolute nut-bag but great, the author never shied away from her more....unpleasant personalities flaws. and made the story so much more.

I adored how the angels were beautiful on the outside but deadly and monstrous on the inside. the suppose good guys where actually the bad guys. which was beyond awesome. who doesn't love it when the good guys turn out to be the villains.

anyways I'm off to read World After which I'm hoping will be just as good! it couldnt possibly be better right?! ;)
